Cafeteria Remodel

As an integral part of Divine Child campus life, the high school cafeteria is more than just a place to eat. The cafeteria is a vital gathering space where students connect, share meals, and build lifelong friendships. This area also serves as a setting for many campus-wide community events — from parish pancake breakfasts and fish frys to afterglows and alumni events, this space is one of the most highly visible and utilized spaces in the DC community!

After 66 years, this space needs a transformation to better serve our students and community. Your generosity will help us expand the footprint by opening the wall between the cafeteria and all-purpose room, raise the ceilings, add decorative lighting and modern seating, and create a more functional, efficient, and inviting space.

Can you help us reach our goal?

Together, we can ensure that Divine Child students and families have the best space to gather for years to come. Thank you for your support!

See the Vision

With this renovation, we will create a modern, welcoming environment that enhances student life and strengthens our community. Plans include expanding the footprint by opening the wall between the APR and cafeteria, adding exposed ceilings, installing new decorative lighting and wall features to beautify the space, and more. Additionally, we are exploring the possibility of an outdoor patio and seating area, to create a versatile, welcoming environment that will meet the evolving needs of our entire campus community.
