Bus Driver
Position Description: Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from the Dearborn school site for field trips, activities, athletic events, etc.
Necessary qualifications:
- Must have a good driving record with a valid Michigan Commercial Driver’s License CDL B with proper endorsements:
- School Bus Driver (S)
- Passenger (P)
- Air Brakes enabled
Hours:
- Part Time - Schedule Varies
- Days, Nights, Weekends or occasional overnight trips
All new hires will require (or be willing to obtain):
- A current Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Safety Education classes

Long Term Sub - English Teacher
Position Description: Long Term Sub - English Teacher Position
Divine Child High School is seeking a focused, dedicated, and qualified secondary school English teacher to join our staff as a long term sub for the 2020-2021 school year. The ideal candidate is innovative and a proponent of the active learning philosophy, and eager to work collaboratively with our dedicated faculty and staff.
Qualifications/Requirements
All teachers in the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit shall be certified and /or approved for teaching by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan. All teachers are required to hold the appropriate endorsement for the subject(s) they are assigned to teach.The successful candidate for this position will be certified in English, and by the State of Michigan hold the BA endorsement.

Sub-Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach
Position Description: Sub-Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach
Responsibilities:
-
Planning, Organizing and Conducting daily practices
-
Assist in management of uniform and equipment distribution.
-
Be experienced and proficient in teaching and developing girls lacrosse skills and fundamentals.
-
Develop practice and game strategies in accordance with the Head Varsity Coach plan.
-
Maintain adequate communication with athletes and parent(s).
-
Keep the Athletic Director and Varsity Head Coach informed of scheduling changes, athlete and/or parental issues.
-
Provide support to the Head Varsity Coach as needed.
Applicant Requirements:
-
Coaching experience preferred, but not required.
-
Applicants must have basic knowledge of the game of girls lacrosse.
-
Applicants must have playing experience at the high school varsity, club, and/or college level.
-
Familiarity with the Catholic High School League and knowledge of the MHSAA organizations preferred. Willingness to meet all League and state coaching requirements.
-
Strong interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes and parents.
-
Support the growth of the student athletes in virtue, discipleship and living the Catholic faith.
-
Must take Protecting God's Children workshop and have a background check.
-
After School availability (3:00 pm or after) for practices and events.
-
Saturday availability during season.

In coordination with the Head Varsity Coach, plan and implement team activities, tryouts, practices, game plans and summer activities.

Teaches student-athletes to perform sound, safe fundamental techniques of the designated sport throughout the season.
-
Fosters training in conduct, ethics and sportsmanship for all participants and coaches.
-
Works with a spirit of teamwork to schedule practices with other teams needs.
-
Responsible for the safety and security of the team before, during, and after events and traveling to and from events. Coach may be required to ride the bus with the team.

Responsible for distribution, collection, and general upkeep of all uniforms and equipment and providing an end of the season inventory.

Technology Teacher
Position Description: Technology/Accounting Teacher
Divine Child High School is seeking a shared time Technology/Accounting teacher for the second semester. The position will begin in February 2021. The ideal candidate has experience teaching Technology, Accounting and Web Design courses. The individual in this position should work well as a part of a faculty team that is excited to teach in a faith-based school and actively engages students in their faith formation and development of the whole individual.
