I.T.S.

The International Thespian Society is an organization which serves to honor the accomplishments of students in the theater arts. Recognized around the world as a prestigious accomplishment, the society boasts over 3,000 troupes worldwide. Divine Child Troupe 3508 has been extremely active on the state and national level since 1994, though our group was chartered in the 80's. Students earn membership by participating in community service projects, working onstage and back stage with plays and by attending workshops and other theatrical productions. Once initiated, students may take leadership workshops, compete in individual event performance competitions, hold office on the local, state, and national level, and serve as student reps to either the Michigan Educational Theater Association or the Dearborn Area Theater Association., earn their varsity letter, and audition for scholarships. Meetings are called as needed.
