Drug and Alcohol Policy: Disciplinary Action (cumulative over four years)
General | Selling, Exchanging of Drugs/Alcohol
First Violation
- at any school-related activity, on school property or in the immediate area of the school building
- Out of school suspension for up to ten (10) school days. The first three (3) days will be served immediately. No credit will be given for work or tests missed during the time of suspension.
- Participation in a Substance Abuse Program (usually 4 sessions on Saturday mornings - incurred cost of $75) arranged by the Student Services Department. If the student fails to complete the above program, the additional days of suspension shall be served.
- Participation/Attendance in any school activities, sports, practices, clubs, dances, etc. is suspended for 30 days.

Second Violation
- Immediate dismissal from Divine Child High School
