Divine Child High School lays claim to the largest Athletic Department in the Catholic League. Its 23 sports translates into 46 total teams. This creates many opportunities for boys and girls in all grades.
Of the nearly 900 students in the high school, over half of the student body participates at some level of competitive sports. This extraordinary involvement is a manifestation of great school spirit and pride in our teams.
The Falcons have had regular success in both state competition and within the Catholic League. In the past two seasons, Divine Child has won three State Championships and four Catholic League Championships.
Many of our student-athletes have been recognized for their individual accomplishments on the state level. In 2002, 18 of our graduating student-athletes were offered athletic scholarships.
Each sport season inevitably brings us much hope and anticipation of continued excellence in athletics. As we "raise the bar" through interscholastic sports, it is our desire to maintain sportsmanship through honorable Christian character.
We hope to build on the rich foundation that has been established through Divine Child athletics.
