High School Placement Exam

The test takes place on November 21, 2009. The cost is $24. No matter where you are taking the test, it is our hope that you do well so that we might have an accurate reading of your academic potential.

Here are a few reminders that might help you excel:

• Get a good rest on the night before the test.
• Eat a nourishing breakfast.
• Give yourself enough time so that you will not be rushed.
• Bring a small snack with you. There will be a short stand-up break in the testing room.
• Bring two sharpened #2 pencils with erasers.
• Determine your first and second choices of high schools you would like to attend (where your scores will be sent). Please discuss this ahead of time with your parents.

If you are taking the placement test at Divine Child High School:

• Arive no later than 7:30 a.m. Use the Gym entrance in the back of the high school. Testing begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Choice cards will be completed prior to the start of the test.
• When you enter the building, you must register and pay your testing fee. Go the the registration table in the atrium. You will then be issued a room number.
• Testing will be over by 12:15-12:30 p.m.
• It is not necessary to pre-register for the test at Divine Child High School.

Parents are invited to stay for coffee & donuts in our cafeteria during the testing.
